ST 0.10.11, New ships

U.S. Tier X Destroyer Forrest Sherman, Soviet Tier X Cruiser Sevastopol, Spanish Tier VI Cruiser Canarias, and British Tier VI Cruiser Dido have been added to the game for testing, along with Soviet Tier VIII Submarine C-189.

Please note that all information in the development blog is preliminary. Announced adjustments and features may change multiple times during testing. The final information will be published on our game's website.

U.S. Tier X Destroyer Forrest Sherman

The lead ship of the class she gives name to, this destroyer was built after World War II, taking into account the lessons learned during the conflict. The ship's armament was primarily designed to counter aircraft and submarines.

The ship is armed with three rapid-firing 127 mm guns with HE and SAP shells. Her torpedo armament consists of four 533 mm single-tube torpedo launchers, placed in pairs on both the port and starboard sides. The torpedo launchers have a very narrow aiming sector. The torpedoes themselves are identical to the Mk17 used on Gearing, but have a faster reload. The ship has access to the Smoke Generator, Engine Boost, and Defensive AA Fire consumables in different slots.

Soviet Tier X Cruiser Sevastopol

A large artillery ship (Project 69-I), which resembles a swift "small battleship". The ship's main armament is represented by six powerful 380 mm guns placed in three turrets. Her AP-shells have improved ricochet angles and a short fuse time. The ship also enjoys quite good concealment parameters.

Sevastopol is equipped with the Fast Damage Control Team consumable, which differs from the standard Damage Control Party by its faster reload while having a limited number of charges. Besides, that ship has the Defensive AA Fire and Hydroacoustic Search consumables in one slot, an Engine Boost with a short action time, but a larger bonus to speed, and a Repair Party that has a longer action time, but replenishes less HP per second.

Spanish Tier VI Cruiser Canarias

Designed in the U.K., this heavy cruiser was based on the British County-class ships. She is armed with eight 203 mm guns placed in four turrets that fire only AP Shells with improved ricochet angles, but without high armor-penetrating capabilities. The main feature of the ship is the availability of an Alternative Firing Mode, similar to superships Condé, Annapolis, and Zorky. Activating the Alternative Firing Mode improves the accuracy of her main battery guns, along with their shells' damage and armor-penetrating capabilities for a limited number of salvoes before entering a cooldown period. The ship is also equipped with the Hydroacoustic Search consumable.

Alongside Canarias, there will be a new in-game nation added — Spain.

British Tier VI Cruiser Dido

A comparatively small cruiser, designated to contribute to a fleet's AA defenses and interact with destroyers. It was one of the first ships armed with dual-purpose guns as their main battery.

The main armament of the ship is comprised of ten fast-firing 133 mm guns placed in five turrets and powerful torpedoes with decent reload time and the ability to fire off individual torpedoes. Dido is equipped with the Defensive AA Fire and Short-Burst Smoke Generator consumables with a large number of charges and fast reload, but short action time and smoke screen dispersion time. The ship also has good concealment, improved engine characteristics that allow her to both accelerate and decelerate quickly. However, it is impossible to mount the Propulsion Modification 1 upgrade in her fourth slot.
