Closed Test 0.11.0, New Ships

New Italian Tier II-X  destroyers, as well as Pan-American tier VIII battleship Atlântico have been added to the game for testing.

 

Italian researchable destroyers

In the upcoming session of closed testing we are adding more Italian destroyers to the game:

  • Tier II Curtatone.
  • Tier III Nazario Sauro.
  • Tier IV Turbine.
  • Tier V Maestrale.
  • Tier VI Aviere.
  • Tier VII Luca Tarigo.
  • Tier VIII Vittorio Cuniberti.
  • Tier IX Adriatico.
  • Tier X Attilio Regolo.

The destroyers of Tiers II-VII and X are based on actual ships of the Regia Marina.

Vittorio Cuniberti - Project of a destroyer, which is an evolution of Maestrale class with more powerful artillery and torpedo armament.

Adriatico - A project of a large, well-armed ship equipped with 135 mm artillery, in many respects similar to the Soviet destroyer leader Tashkent built in Italy.

All ships of the new branch have high damage per minute, but extremely low range on their main caliber guns, and are equipped with SAP and HE shells. 

In addition, the Italian destroyers are armed with long-range torpedoes. The new ships are equipped with the Exhaust Smoke Generator and, starting from tier VIII, the Emergency Engine Power consumable as well.

Italian destroyer FR25, Tier VII

          

A Guépard-class destroyer originally built for the French Navy with its anti-aircraft guns replaced by Italian ones.

The ship differs from the Italian destroyers in that it has an increased main battery firing range, which is compensated by a reduced torpedo range.

FR25 is equipped with Italy's signature Exhaust Smoke Generator.

Pan-American battleship Atlântico, Tier VIII

          

Project of a battleship with British main caliber guns and secondary armament, as well as American dual-purpose and AA artillery.

The battleship is armed with ten 381 mm guns in five twin turrets. The ship is equipped only with armor-piercing projectiles with improved ricochet angles and firing threshold.

The Atlântico also boasts long-range secondary armament of a solid caliber: ten 127mm guns and sixteen 234mm guns with a base range of 7.5 km.

In addition to the standard Damage Control Party and Repair Party, the ship is equipped with the Hydroacoustic Search consumable.
