Closed Test 13.7 - Changes to Test ships

Based on the testing results, we're applying changes to Xin Zhong Guo 14, Volunteer State, Tennessee, Ipiranga, Los Andes, Libertad, Comodoro and commander Joaquim Marques Lisboa, Victoria and Hildebrand.

 

Pan-Asian submarine Xin Zhong Guo 14, Tier VI

  • Sonar range increased: 7 to 9km.
  • Acoustic homing torpedo range increased: 7 to 9km.

American Battleships Volunteer State and Tennessee, Tier VIII 

  • Main battery accuracy reduced. It will now be similar to that found on most large cruisers and battlecruisers of their Tier such as Constellation, Champagne and Borodino.

Pan-American Battleship Ipiranga, Tier VIII

  • Main battery turret traverse time reduced: 45 to 30s.
  • Changed maneuverability parameters:
    • Turning circle radius reduced: 920 to 820m.
    • Stock hull Rudder shift time increased: 15.7 to 16.9s.
    • Researchable hull Rudder shift time reduced: 15.7 to 11.1s.

Pan-American Battleship Los AndesTier IX

  • Stock hull HP reduced: 71100 to 65800.
  • Researchable hull HP reduced: 79400 to 71100.
  • Main battery turret traverse time reduced: 36 to 30s.
  • Changed maneuverability parameters:
    • Turning circle radius reduced: 960 to 860m.
    • Stock hull Rudder shift time increased: 17 to 18.4s.
    • Researchable hull Rudder shift time reduced: 17 to 13s.

Pan-American Battleships Libertad and Comodoro, Tier X

  • We've made several changes to the armoring of the ships, to increase their survivability and reduce the chance of the ships being citadelled via the bow and stern:

    • Athwartship transverse bulkhead upper front casemate armor plate thickness increased: 51 to 152mm. (3)

    • Athwartship transverse bulkhead lower casemate armor plate thickness increased: 51 to 305mm. (2)

    • Athwartship transverse bulkhead citadel armor plate thickness increased: 102 to 305mm. (1)

  • Main battery turret traverse time reduced: 36 to 30s.
  • Changed maneuverability parameters:
    • Turning circle radius reduced: 1020 to 910m.
    • Researchable hull Rudder shift time reduced: 17.6 to 13.6s.

Pan-American Unique commander Joaquim Marques Lisboa:

"Relentless Firing" talent parameters changed:

  • Bonus to secondary battery reload time increased: -15 to -22.5%.

 

The following changes will be implemented on the live server with the release of Update 13.8:

Spanish Battleship Victoria, Tier IX

As you may remember, we considered several concepts for new Spanish Battleship Victoria. Upon receiving highly positive feedback from our testers, we are happy to announce that the current concept of Victoria will be the one chosen for the ship. You can read more about this concept in our previous DevBlog. At the same time, we will continue working on fine tuning this concept to a balanced state until the release of the ship. As part of that process, the following changes will be applied to the ship:

  • Burst Fire and Modified Shells alternative fire mode reload time increased: 45 to 53s.
  • Main Battery Reload Booster consumable cooldown increased: 150 to 300s.

German Cruiser Hildebrand, Tier X

  • Main Battery reload time reduced: 17 to 15s.
  • Main battery turret traverse time reduced: 30 to 25s.
  • Maximum AP shell damage increased: 9100 to 9500.
  • Planes that make up the Torpedo Bomber squadron changed from Bf 110 C-6 to Ta 152C-1/R14. This aircraft is similar to researchable torpedo bombers found on Manfred von Richthofen, and as a result aircraft parameters changed: 
    • HP increased: 1570 to 1710. 
    • Cruise speed increased: 149 to 174kt. 
    • Maximum speed increased: 189 to 214kt.
    • Torpedo parameters changed:
      • Maximum damage increased: 4067 to 4533.
      • Speed increased: 52 to 55kt.
      • Range increased: 2.5 to 3.0 km.
      • Arming distance increased: 489 to 591m.
  • Bomber parameters changed:
    • The Repair consumable action time increased: 5 to 7s.
