ST 0.10.9, changes to test ships

The changes will be applied to Incomparable, Prinz Rupprecht, and Karl Schonberg, as well as some other ships.
 

X Incomparable

  • The engine's settings have been changed. Since then, the ship will accelerate faster - up to 24 knots moving forward, and to 5 knots when reversing.
  • The Propulsion Modification 1 Upgrade is no longer available to be mounted.
  • Repair Party is replaced with Specialized Repair Teams, similar to the one of British heavy cruisers.

IX Prinz Rupprecht

  • Maximum AP shell damage reduced from 12700 to 11500.

VI Karl von Schönberg:

  • Torpedo speed reduced from 65 to 62 knots.
  • Torpedo range reduced from 8 to 7.5 km.

World of Warships Command Centre opening event, new ships

British battleship Incomparable, Tier X

A 1915 design for a gigantic fast battlecruiser, armed with six 508-mm guns in three turrets. Incomparable has low concealment and slim armor.

Detailed characteristics of the new ships will be announced later.

ST 0.10.7, changes to test ships and skills.

The changes will be applied to soviet carriers, Connecticut, Incomparable, other ships and some commander skills.
 

X Connecticut:

  • Detectability range by sea reduced from 18 to 16 km. Other detectability ranges were reduced accordingly.
  • Changed the "Repair Party" consumable:
    • Restoration of hit points lost after receiving damage to the citadel increased from 10% to 50%;
    • Reload time reduced from 80 to 40 s.
  • Action time of the "damage Control Party" consumable increased from 20 to 30 s.
  • Casemate armor thickness reduced from 150 to 51 mm.
  • The speed of the maximum engine power gain during acceleration is  increased:
    • When moving forward by 75%.
    • When moving backwards by 100%.
  • The parameters of the AP shells are now similar to those of the Vermont:
    • Maximum shell damage increased from 14,300 to 15,750.
    • Initial shell velocity reduced from 832 to 732 m/s.
  • Changed shell ballistics: now it takes longer for them to reach the target.

ST 0.10.8, changes to test ships

Changes will be applied to German battleships, Soviet Aircraft carriers, Incomparable, and other ships.

X Admiral Nakhimov

  • Attack time of researchable Skip Bombers decreased from 8 to 6 s.

VIII Chkalov

  • Changed parameters of standard bombers:
    • Bomb drop height increased by 30%.
    • Drop time increased by 20%.
    • Attack time was reduced from 8 to 7 s.

VIII Rochester

  • Maximum Main Battery reload time increased from 11,5 to 12 s.

ST 0.10.9, Changes to test ships

X Incomparable

Fixed a situation because of which the visibility range of the ship could be shorter than the maximum firing range:

  • Visibility range increased from 24,4 to 25,4 km.

Italian battleship Giuseppe Verdi, Tier IX

  • Fixed an issue because of which the ship couldn't have the "Spotting Aircraft Modification I" special upgrade mounted

Balance Changes – Public Test 12.2

We're applying balance changes to the following ships based on the analysis of both their combat statistics as well as player feedback: hybrid ships, Agano, Cherbourg, Fenyang, Maestrale, Aviere, Adriatico, Cavour, Nino Bixio, Kotovsky, Incomparable, Álvaro de Bazán, and Tromp.

 

Hybrid ships

  • IX Kearsarge, IX Kearsarge B, VIII Tone, and VI Ise will receive Depth Charge Airstrike with standard stats for the relevant ship type and Tier.

Methods of distribution of new ships

X Incomparable

A 1915 design for a gigantic fast battlecruiser, armed with six 508-mm guns in three turrets. 

The battleship is notable for her good speed, powerful AA, but not the best armor. As far as consumables, Incomparable is equipped with Engine Boost, Specialized Repair Teams, and Short-Range Hydroacoustic Search, which differs from the standard Hydroacoustic Search with a longer action time, but lower action range. She is also armed with two quadruple-tubed 533 mm torpedo launchers with a good range and the ability to launch single torpedoes.

The ship will be available for steel

X Forrest Sherman

The lead ship of the class she gives name to, this destroyer was built after World War II, taking into account the lessons learned during the conflict. The ship's armament was primarily designed to counter aircraft and submarines. 

The ship is armed with three rapid-firing 127 mm guns with HE and SAP shells. Her torpedo armament consists of four 533 mm single-tube torpedo launchers, placed in pairs on both the port and starboard sides.

Closed test, changes to test ships

Sherman, Incomparable, Preussen, Pan-Asian cruisers, and Italian destroyers. 
 

Spanish Cruiser Canarias, Tier VI:

  • Removed "Burst Fire" alternative fire mode.
  • Maximum main battery firing range increased from 14.5 to 16.5 km.
  • Added "Engine Boost" consumable that increases ship's maximum speed by 15%.
  • Main battery reload time decreased from 15 to 10 sec.
  • Changed the parameters of the AP shells:
    • Maximum damage increased from 3,800 to 4,500.
    • Armor penetration increased by 2 times.

The Canarias was one of the first ships in our game on which we tested the alternative fire mode mechanics. The new mechanics performed well on the Canarias, but it still requires a number of tweaks and improvements before it is used outside super ships. That's why we removed the alternative fire mode from the ship, compensating for it by strengthening the main caliber guns and adding a new consumable.

VI Dido

  • Main battery reload time increased from 6.5 to 8.5 sec.

ST 0.10.7, new ships

In 0.10.7, we're introducing a branch of German battleships, British Tier X battleship Incomparable, German Tier VIII battleship Brandenburg and Tier VI destroyer Karl von Schönberg.

Adding and changing content

Added to the game: 

  • Permanent camouflage "Ahead of the Future" for Incomparable.

  • Permanent "Industrial" camouflage for Hawke, Dunkan, St.Vincent.

  • British commanders "Charlie Chatham", "Eddie Elswick" and "Kyle Clydebank".

  • Flags British Battleships, Anchors, Sextan and Rose of the Winds.
  • The Titans of Industry achievement.

  • New daily container "More Camouflages".

72 new camouflages added to the Distant Voyages container.

Standard British commanders' portraits have been updated and several new ones added.

In 0.11.6, the American destroyers will continue to be updated. This time Sims, Sims B, Sampson, Wickes, Clemson, Nicholas and Farragut will get new models.
